COLLABORATIVE POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM IN NEXT GENERATION INTERNET

Entry Requirements (GENERAL)

Work area must be related to NGI.
All candidates must fulfill the English language requirement as specified below:
TOEFL score 500, or
IELTS band 5, or
MUET band 4 or anything equivalent.
Equivalent English competency qualification approved by NAv6.

Entry Requirements (MSc)

Open to all bachelor degree graduates who have obtained distinctions in the following fields: Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, and Electric & Electronic Engineering.
Other fields can be considered based on the applicant's experience in the field of Internet and Information Technology, e.g. a potential candidate with background of Social Science can opt to do his/her postgraduate research in Internet Governance.
CGPA > 2.75/4 or anything equivalent for bachelor's.
Meet general qualification conditions set by USM.

Entry Requirements (PhD)

This program is also open to all graduates who possess a MSc degree in fields related to computer networks or Internet from any local or international university recognized by USM.
CGPA > 3.00/4 or anything equivalent for master's.
Those candidates who fail to meet the minimum CGPA requirement could be accepted based on the consideration made by NAv6's council.
